Abstract

Purpose: This study was done to describe a knowledge and an attitude about the CPR of middle school student for their CPR-related curriculum developing.

Method: From October 23 to 24, 2008, 5 classes of one middle school in Gyeonggi-do, total 180 responded to the questionnaire, which was developed by the researcher. Data were anlyzed using SPSS WIN 14.0 version.

Result: Knowledge of the students is very low, making up an average of 9.06 points out of the total 16points. 86.1% of students agree with necessity of CPR training.

Conclusion: CPR educational program developments which use a simulation are necessary.
